2024 is the 70th anniversary of Exmoor National Park. This autumn in the lead up to #ExmoorDay (19th October) we will be celebrating all that is good about Exmoor and looking to its future with a special 70th Anniversary Appeal for CareMoor for Exmoor.
Every penny raised will help to keep Exmoor special for future generations by supporting our work to conserve the landscapes, habitats, footpaths and heritage.
2024 is the year that Exmoor celebrates 70 years designation as a National Park and what better way to mark the occasion than to raise funds for CareMoor for Exmoor as part of our 70for70 appeal. We are asking supporters to raise £70 for CareMoor in any way they can.

As part of this broader appeal we are challenging people from Exmoor, England, the UK and the World to walk 70 virtual miles of our stunning countryside in aid of CareMoor for Exmoor.
Because this is a virtual route they can take part wherever they are, at any time and in as many days as they wish. All they need to do is record their daily steps each day on Big Team Challenge and await to see which amazing places they visit.
There are also long distance walk opportunities around Exmoor including circular SWCP Minehead to Combe Martin; a selection of Exmoor Classic Walks totalling 70 miles; Coleridge Way and part of 2MW (Lynmouth to Withypool) and Tarka Trail North Loop – all taking in the Exmoor landscape.
